Woman

So it turns out that I'm sitting at home on Hallowe'en. There are various 'scary movies' on tonight on several channels (movies including The Shinnin').
But what really gets to me is how impolite little 5 year olds are when it come to knocking on our door. Just about all of them seem to be able to break down our front door with the sheer force of knocking they employ.
I guess kids will be kids. Having said that, I only ever did the whole Hallowe'en thing once when I was about 10 years old. And I knocked very politely, because it was rude not to. Then again, I was double these kids' age. Then again... I could start going in circles, but that would not be fun.

On another note, I stayed away from the school today. Decided to get some study done for the upcoming exams... 2 weeks away now. Or something like that anyway. On a related note, I now have one and a half weeks left of highschool. Now ain't that a scary thought, huh?

Between today's study and Facebook, I decided to draw a picture. I'm not that great, but I was surprised at how well the picture turned out. For me, the end result is something that I would have considered to be beyond my ability, but no! It's the end result I got, so it can't be. Haha, I guess you want to know what the picture is? Simply put it's a face. A beautiful face. Thanks for the compliment, but it wasn't a self portrait, :)
No, it was my attempt at drawing the face of Adriana Lima. Not sure if it actually looks like her though, haha, but I tried and thats what matters. Took quite a while too. And I learned the longer you take the more the lead starts to smear across the page. A lesson well learned.

What brought on the urge to draw? Between boredom and no time to waste, it was Maroon 5's "Woman" that did it. It's not a song that is on any album, and the version I have is slightly different to that on the Spiderman 2 soundtrack. However they both contain the catalytic (correct usage? I don't know) line "And If I should ever draw a picture of a woman, It is you that would come flowing from my pen."
Although I used a pencil.

Without further ado, for the first time, a song on my blog! Or rather a link, because it seems my blog doesn't do the things David's can on wordpress. Or maybe I just don't know how to use it. Either way, I implore you to reconsider if you don't want to listen to the song. It is the exact same version as mine, and it even has pretty pictures! Enjoy it when you hear it!
