You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind

One can only express disappointment at the lack of a wide cinema release for Blue Valentine in this country. It's only being shown at a handful of cinemas and only one of which is remotely accessible to me. But for reasons I shall not be entering into, I'll just wait for the DVD release. Sad me :(

Quote of The Post: "There's no such thing as love at first sight. But there is love of an idea at first sight. "
And boy, oh, boy that makes life an interesting thing to live. Tell me you haven't been there. You just lied. Yeah. I'm assuming things, right here, right now. But seriously, love at second sight is a hell of a stretch too. Love of an idea at first sight is mighty infectious. What is a more resilient parasite than an idea? (This is foreshadowing, I believe).

Movie of The Post: Inception
See? Foreshadowing. This is a movie that I suspect quite a few people have seen. A lot of people. Even you. I must say, I did very much enjoy this movie. A lot. Not least of all because it stars Leonardo DiCaprio. An interesting, literally multi-layered film with a couple of good lines here and there and a raiser of many interesting mind/dream related questions. What have they done to our minds? How? Why?!

Song of The Post: Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison
I don't care who you are, if you don't know this song then you really have been living under a rock all of your life. If you didn't know a song in my last three posts, I could understand that. But this is a ridiculously famous song. You have to know it. Seriously.
This, to me, is a great song about looking back and smiling. It makes me smile. It's just that good. Even if you've heard it a billion times before, take 3 minutes to listen to it once more.
